Where can I go on the internet or in person to learn how to do stock? It looks like a good thing to invest in, maybe I can even become rich off of it.

Thanks!|||If you have friends with well-to-do families, ask if their parents or other relatives invest in the stock market. Successful older investors love to talk about the stock market and will tell you all the introductory stuff. Just remember they are probably set in their ways and convinced they know the only way to make money in the stock market, and that is not true. There are many ways to make money, you have to find one that works for you and not be a slave to someone else's ideas.|||bobbrinker.com is the best site i know of for learning about the markets and how to avoid getting burned.|||The main success for any individual investor is to make sure;

A. Have an "Asset Allocation Plan" and follow it (adjust as needed).

B. Keep expenses low.

LEARN LEARN LEARN...... You can save your self 10's of 1,000's of dollars in commisions and fees if you take a year to learn the basics of investing. Don't cheat yourself. Don't take advise from friends. LEARN ASSET ALLOCATION..................READ READ READ.............|||Go to the Vanguard web site and study their materials. They have a lot of free information for newcomers.

I also strongly recoommend that you learn about the "Couch Potato Portfolio." It is a great one for beginners.|||Take a class at a community college or university nearby.|||I would recommend visiting CNBC.com and go under their stock and investing section. They have lots of helpful information. I also recommend watching CNBC's MAD MONEY show with jim cramner. His shows can be a little overwhelming but if you watch it enough you can catch on. As for trading it self, find a online broker such as scottrade or etrade.
