I have spoke to many people that claim they are millionaires from the stock market without disclosing how they did it. If you have made millions from the stock market please share your tactics here. What stocks would you recommend, what investment company (e-trade, ameritrade, etc)? Do not answer if you haven't made millions in the stock market!|||Those who made millions had good luck. There are just as many who lost their shirts.|||I'm a technical trader and mostly trade derivatives of stocks rather than the stocks themselves. Yes, it is possible to make millions on the stockmarket tradings, people do so every day. If your analysis are done well, then you'll usually score some profits.|||buy low and sell high|||do you know Mr w.d.gann? i have studying his theory for a long time
and will make uncountable money in future.he was a speculative king by trading cotton and wheat.you must read his book 'the truth of the stock tape' or other his book. you must get understand the stock market before you consider the investment tactics.i have made my breakthrough trading in warrant market.it can get fast money and didn't need much capital. around HKD 5000 enough get in the market.if the market volatility is wide just like recently.it can make three to four times profit in a short period.|||If I may speak for 2 of the most successful investors in the world, Warren Buffet and Peter Lynch--- buy low, don't sell (unless fundamentals have changed). Buy what you know (do lots of research, find good companies you would like to work for, in other words, will it be around in 40, 50 years so I can make a good career here). Time in the market, not market timing is the key to successful investing.
As for me, I would recommend stocks that make products used the world over, used by many people, used every day, used up quickly and bought again. Things like soap, toothpaste, oil. Many, many years ago I bought stock in an oil company. With stock splits over the years, my original cost was $7.83 a share, now they go for $75.00 a share. As a plus, they have increased dividends most every year since I first bought it so while I am waiting for the price to go up even more, and the time I will need the money, I am getting over 16% return (on my original investment) via dividends each and every year + the return on the rising stock price.
